about

If you're reading this, then we finally finished the latest Random Confusion EP and you're most likely giving it a listen. "It's about damn time you finished it." some of you may be saying to yourselves. How do we know this? Because we said it to ourselves when we realized it was completed.

It's been way too long since we released the Reminisence EP and a lot has happened in the world. For David and myself we've dealt with job changes, family issues (including a relative with a very serious illness ), a world around us that seems to be unhinged at best, and various forms of stress and a myriad of minor to moderate things (including misplacing the earlier work copy discs of several of the tracks) that interfered with us completing this.

And yes, we admit, our tendency to work slow and living in two different cities doesn't exactly help matters.

However, just as we were beginning to wonder if we would finish it circumstances fell into place. A new instrument in the arsenal somehow unlocked new ideas and ended up in various places. With that came new ideas and a receptiveness to tinker a bit until we got what you hear today,

Could this have been released before? Possibly. Would it, in the big picture, ended up with us as satisfied as we are now with these songs? Maybe - but things turned out for the best.

This EP is a mixture of old and new in many ways. While the songs have germinated for way too long, they ended up in a place where it seems the time is right to unleash them on an unsuspecting world. We hope you get a kick out of listening to them.

Thanks, Boone and David
